The recently finished NeXOS project consists of the development of an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) including several sensors to give response to the Marine Strategy Framework Device (MSFD), which is focused to reach a good environmental state in the sea. Marine Technology Centre (CTN) has developed the digital signal processing algorithms integrated in the acoustic sensor.
In order to do that, we have been developed click, wisthle and low frequency tone detectors, and impulsive and continuous noise processing algorithms. In addition to this, CTN has characterized the digital hydrophone NeXOS A1 that includes our algorithms
